- Offensive Coordinator (2004-2012) Parker High School -Runningbacks coach (2001-2004) Jackson graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Education from Alabama State University.

Ronnie Jackson was a four year starter at Midfield High School. He received All-State and All=Metro awards while playing His coaching career began as an assistant at Parker High under the Birmingham City Schools legend Andre Robinson. After the departure of coach Robinson, Cedric Bliar became head coach and named Jackson as Offensive coordinator after his second year. As OC, Jackson led the herd to 6 consecutive playoff appearance. In 2012, Rueben Nelson hired Jackson as offensive coordinator to help restart a program at Ramsay. In 2016, Jackson helped Ramsay to win Class 6A State Championship. Jackson took over as head coach in 2021 and led the rams to the class 5A State Championship in his second year. He also reached the state title game in 2023. He is a veteran educator and has coached within the Birmingham City Schools system with over 20 years of experience.

Jackson has coached numerous players that have gone on to play at all levels of college football and the NFL.

A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Jackson and his wife have Andrea has three children Kayla (27), Demarcus(22), and Reagan(18). He has 2 granddaughters Maliyah(3) and Dior(2)
